Box Score 2 Tournament WebsiteELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's volleyball team split on day one of the Days Inn Blue Jay Classic hosted by Elizabethtown College on Friday at the Thompson Gymnasium, downing York (Pa.) College, 3-1 (20-25, 25-16, 29-27, 25-21), before falling by a 3-0 (25-21, 25-8, 25-21) final to Johns Hopkins University.
New Paltz saw its winning streak end at 11 and moves to 12-3 overall on the season. York falls to 4-8 overall, while Johns Hopkins rises to 7-8. New Paltz finishes up action at the tournament tomorrow, facing host Elizabethtown at 11 a.m. before closing out with a 1 p.m. tilt against Swarthmore College.
