NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's lacrosse team will travel to SUNY Potsdam on Tuesday, April 7 at 4 p.m. in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action.

21137SCOUTING THE HAWKS (2-5, 1-2): On Saturday April 4, New Paltz dropped its 2015 home opener to the Buffalo State Bengals,16-7… At the beginning of the game, the Hawks had the potential to win, going back-and-forth against the Bengals, but eventually the Hawks could not stop the bleeding… Senior attacker Kelsey Healy tallied three goals, one groundball, one caused turnover, and one draw control… Senior midfielder Carissa Citro recorded two goals, three groundballs, one assist, one caused turnover, and five draw controls… Senior midfielder Lianne Valdivia and senior defender Julia Johnson each notched one goal in the game…Valdivia also produced offensively with her three assists and six draw controls… Freshman attacker Caitlyn Morris added two assists… Johnson produced on the defensive end with four groundballs... Senior goalkeeper Jackie Ulanoff took the loss making six saves...New Paltz dominated Buffalo State in draw controls 16-9.
