Meet ResultsCORTLAND, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's swimming team won 11 of the 14 events contested in a 174-88 victory over SUNY Cortland on Friday afternoon at Harriet Holsten Pool.
Senior
Cassidy Griger (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) and freshman
Jaimie Kaefer (North Bellmore, N.Y./W.C. Mepham) both were double individual event winners for the Hawks. Griger captured the 1,000 freestyle (10:54.75) and the 100 freestyle (55.24), while Kaefer won the 200 backstroke (2:15.55) and the 200 individual medley (2:17.24).
New Paltz rises to 3-1 with the win and hosts Mount Saint Mary College tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Elting Pool. Cortland drops to 1-5 with the loss and next competes at the RPI Kumpf Invitational tomorrow at 12 p.m.

Kaleigh O'Halloran (Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) topped the field in the 100 backstroke (1:03.10), while senior
Krista VerMeersch (Newark, N.Y./Newark) won the 100 breaststroke (1:12.98). Sophomore
Molly McCulloch (Rome, N.Y./Holland Patent) touched first in the 50 freestyle (25.77). Freshman
Katie Donlevy (Bayside, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy) posted the top time in the 200 breaststroke (2:36.50), while junior
Ann Fici (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge) paced the field in the 500 freestyle (5:36.67).
The 200 medley relay team of O'Halloran, sophomore
Megan Joseph (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge), McCulloch and Donlevy opened up the meet with a winning time of 1:54.46 in the 200 medley relay before the 200 freestyle relay foursome of Donlevy, McCulloch, junior
Aimee Del Favero (Auburn, N.Y./Home School) and Griger bookended the meet with a first-place finish (1:42.72).
Second-place performances came from Donlevy in the 200 freestyle (2:02.08), Joseph in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.33) and 200 breaststroke (2:39.44), senior
Maggie Heaton (New Milford, Conn./New Milford) in the 200 butterfly (2:17.83) and the 200 individual medley (2:21.02), O'Halloran in the 200 backstroke (2:17.18) and McCulloch in the 100 butterfly (1:02.62).
