New Paltz, NY - The State University of New York at New Paltz women's basketball team announced its incoming class for the 2019-20 season. The Hawks had an outstanding season, earning a conference championship, a sweet sixteen appearance, a national ranking (22nd) and ending the season with the longest winning streak (21) and most wins (25-5 overall) in program history. Next year they will be bringing in nine student-athletes in hopes of making it to the NCAA Elite Eight. Scroll down to check out the player profiles on all nine incoming recruits.

Olivia Badura
A 5-foot, 5-inch quick point guard from Purcellville, VA Badura can push the ball in transition, while also creating for herself. She will be crucial on the defensive end, being able to put a lot of pressure on the opposing point guard.
Cassidy Deaver
Deaver, standing at 5-feet, 8-inches, plays the wing position and has great shooting ability. Despite her size, Deaver can finish well in the paint. She will be helpful on the defensive end as well, putting consistent pressure on the opposing guards.
Maddie Gillis
Gillis is a versatile player from Levittown, NY who can guard one-through-five and can do a little bit of everything on offense. The 5-foot, 9-inch guard will be useful with her ability to penetrate and draw fouls in the paint.
Gabby Palladino
Palladino is a long, 5-foot, 10-inch wing who can also defend one-through-five on the court. She has a nice shot and could potentially be a matchup nightmare for the opposing team because of her size and shooting ability.
Graci Serravillo
Serravillo who will play in the front court, has very good size at 5'8''. She always works hard and runs the floor well. On the defensive end, she can guard one-through-five and is always communicating with her teammates.
Sophia Tawil
Tawil is a strong leader from Melville, NY who has a great shot and can create opportunities for herself. At 5'9'', Tawil is extremely tough, both mentally and physically and will always compete.
Lexi Van Vorst
Van Vorst is a very smart point guard from Upstate New York, who knows how to run a team. The 5-foot, 5-inch guard has a nice shot, but can also penetrate the paint and create opportunities for herself and for others.
Vickie Venus
Venus, a 5-foot, 11-inch versatile big from Mineola, NY, can handle the ball and shoots well from mid-range, while also getting after it on the glass.
Semaiah Williams
Williams, a 6-foot athletic big, who is dominant on the boards. She runs the floor well and will occasionally will step out to take a 3.
