The State University of New York at New Paltz continued its winning streak in conference play by defeating SUNY Oswego 9-0 Friday.

Doubles team
Victoria Zezula and
Jenna Grandville got the Hawks off to a hot start by winning 8-0.
Onalee Batcheller and
Alexandra Dratch won their match at second doubles, 8-1, along with
Ava Sweeney and
Emma Messenger following with an 8-1 win in third doubles.Â
In first singles
Laura Koob defeated Rayne Broach (6-0, 6-0).
Jenna Grandville defeated Eliza Johnson (6-0, 6-1) in second singles and
Onalee Batcheller defeated Erin Vargo (6-0, 6-0) in third singles.

Alex Chimenti defeated Lora Gould (6-0, 6-1) ,
Ava Sweeney beat Jenny Lap (6-0, 6-0), and
Kathleen Mangan finished up with a win vs Mattie Wallace (6-0, 6-0) in fourth, fifth and sixth singles, respectively.Â

"Very solid performance today. Showed the depth of our program with some solid wins from Ava, Emma, and Kat, which was also capped off by a strong showing from our regular starters," said SUNY New Paltz coach
Rob Bruley. "Looking forward for strong competition from Cortland tomorrow."
All the Hawks contributed in their 9-0 win Friday. They will look to pick up where they left off Saturday, when they take on SUNY Cortland at 11 a.m.
