Each week the State University of New York at New Paltz field hockey team will feature an alumna who will talk about their experiences as a Hawk and how being a part of the program influenced them today.

In episode three, former Hawks goalie Megan Gangewere who starred for NPFH during the 2014-2017 seasons talked about her time in the program. As a sophomore, Gangewere was named as the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar of Distinction, and was named as a NFHCA National All-Academic and SUNYAC All-Academic Team and SUNYAC Commissioner's List every season. Gangewere was also a two-time All-SUNYAC selection, a SUNYAC field hockey Scholar Athlete of the Year and is third all-time in program history in saves (338) and second in save percentage (.796).
