Each week the State University of New York at New Paltz field hockey team will feature an alumna who will talk about their experiences as a Hawk and how being a part of the program influenced them today.

In episode five, former Hawks forward Erin Landy who starred for NPFH during the 2013-2016 seasons talked about her time in the program. A part of three State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) titles over her career, Landy saw immediate time on the field, playing in 13 games her freshman season and earning spots on the NFHCA National Academic Team and SUNYAC All-Academic Team. She found her way into the starting lineup the following season and contributed five goals and four assists, and then started all 22 games the following year. She again was named to the SUNYAC All-Academic Team that season before having her best year in 2016 where she scored nine goals and four assists, while earning First-Team All-SUNYAC honors.
