Brie Costello was a member of the inaugural varsity State University of New York at New Paltz equestrian team that competed in their first season this past year. Costello starred on the Hawks IHSA team and totaled five top-four performances, including a fourth-place standing at the All-Region competition at Marist College Feb. 29.
Costello talked about her experience as a Hawk thus far and why there is only one SUNY New Paltz.
"The best way to describe SUNY New Paltz is simply by saying, 'there's only one.' This is a place where anyone from anywhere can feel at home. You meet amazing people and have the time of your life, along with getting a strong and valuable education."
