Hackettstown, NJ — The State University of New York at New Paltz equestrian team competed at Centenary Saturday for its second IHSA Show of the season and finished third of six teams.
Austin Gago placed fourth on intermediate fences, riding Rockwell and earned fourth once again in intermediate flat, riding Elveron.
Ava Eller placed second in pre-novice riding Gabun, while
Djuna Dechert placed fourth in fences and won flat, placing first overall riding Ambassador.
Maya Osborn placed first overall in reserve limit flat.
Abigail Artz secured fourth in limit flat, riding Dennis, while
Sara Marriott placed third and sixth in limit fences and limit flat, respectively.
Winn Schmitt placed third in limit fences and fifth in limit flat riding Elvis and Harmony, respectively.
Juliette Barkman earned first in limit fences and third in limit flat riding Milo and Happy, respectively.
SUNY New Paltz is back in action Oct. 8 hosting a home IHSA show at Meadow Creek Farm.
