Lagrangeville, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz equestrian team competed at IHSA Regionals at Marist College's Crosswinds Equestrian Center with sophomore
Devyn Looney winning the Open Equitation over Fences and Open Equitation on Flat, while Hawks coaches
Helaina Ricciardi and
Brooke Nestor named Coach of the Year.
The two victories for Looney allowed her to move on to Zones next weekend at Centenary University. She was also named Reserve High Point Rider after her standout performance Saturday.
Abigail Artz and Bri Costello also produced great performances, earning honorable mention in flat, while
Miko McGovern placed third in open equitation on flat.
