Brandon Scott has starred on the State University of New York at New Paltz men's basketball team since coming in as a freshman in 2018. He had a career season in his second year during the 2019-20 campaign, averaging more than 18 minutes per game with six starts.
 
Scott talked about his time thus far as a Hawk and why there is only one SUNY New Paltz. 

"The scenery here in New Paltz is just beautiful. I never really liked walking until I got here, but the trails in town are just beautiful especially at sundown. The town gives me retro movie vibes, and the people here surprise me every day. They are so friendly and welcoming it's easy to become comfortable here."
