SUNY New Paltz (7-4-1 overall, 4-0 SUNYAC) rolled through doubles with Trinity Chow and Tatiana Barnett collecting a dominating, 8-0 win at first doubles, Onalee Batcheller and Alexandra Dratch earning an 8-3 victory at second doubles, and Isabel van deer Veen and Loretta Donovan securing an 8-1 win in third doubles.

Chow, back in the singles lineup, was sharp in a 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles. Anya Barteck won match at second singles, 6-1, 6-3 with Batcheller winning by the same score at third singles. Van der Veen, Barnett and Donovan each earned 6-1, 6-0 victories at four, five and six singles, respectively.

"All three doubles teams were extremely strong in their matches, and I was very happy the way Trinity and Tatiana came together at No. 1 doubles," Bruley said. "Singles started and finished strong, and I was especially pleased the way Anya, Isabel and Tatiana went about their matches, winning very convincingly. This win should set us up well for tomorrow's 9 a.m. match against Fredonia."
