Syracuse, NY —The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its weekly award winners Monday with senior forward
Natasia Plunkett earning her first SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Week nod.
Plunkett, from Holland Patent, NY, helped SUNY New Paltz stay undefeated on the season with an exciting, 5-3 road win over a talented St. John Fisher team. Plunkett was the catalyst, as she ended a career day with three of her team's five goals scored, including the game-winner in the third period to push her team ahead.
Plunkett finished with a career-high in both goals (3) and points (6), while logging a full 60 minutes of action in the win and totaling a game-high six shots for a .600 shooting percentage.
SUNY New Paltz hopes to improve to 4-0 Wednesday when its back home on North Turf Field hosting Skidmore College at 3:30 p.m.
