New Paltz, NY —The State University of New York at New Paltz women's basketball announced its incoming class for the 2023-24 season Tuesday.
The six-time conference champions returned to the SUNYAC Championship game for the fourth-straight year and despite coming off a tough loss in the title game against eventual champion Cortland, a strong regular season through a tough schedule helped the Hawks to at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament where they earned a second-round appearance.
Graduating a talented and deep senior class, SUNY New Paltz returns eight players with sights set on another conference crown and a deeper run into the NCAA Tournament. With the addition of the two incoming Hawks, SUNY New Paltz looks to boost its depth as they return for their 2023-24 run.
