Northborough, MA — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced the honorees for their annual Academic Honor Roll Wednesday.
The State University of New York at New Paltz earned nine selections to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll including: junior defender
Grace Berardi, senior midfielder
Shannon Brosnan, senior defender
Alex Coyle, senior defender
Cayci Hill, senior defender
Ella Malanga, junior defender
Delphine Ross, senior midfielder
Camryn Ryder, junior midfielder
Kaitlyn Shaw and junior midfielder
Morgan Woolley.
The Hawks had the most selections of any SUNYAC team with nine, SUNY Oneonta was the second most at six. Among the nine selected for SUNY New Paltz, there were a total of 964 student-athletes from 173 different institutions. Student-athletes eligible must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Along with the individual Hawks selected, the team also earned IWLCA 2023 All-Academic Team honors. They were among 287 schools across Division I, II, III and NAIA selected for the 2022-23 academic year. To be eligible program's must have posted a 3.2 or higher GPA for the academic year.
