New Paltz, NY — D3Baseball.com released its preseason All-American list Tuesday with senior
Tommy Kreider named as a first team selection.
Kreider is coming off the best season in program history as he became the Hawks' first ever All-American, earning ABCA/Rawlings first team and D3Baseball fourth team after leading his team to their first ever SUNYAC title and NCAA appearance. He adds another accolade to a prolific resume, which includes two ABCA First-Team All-Region nods, SUNYAC All-Tournament Team MVP, three All-SUNYAC picks, SUNYAC Scholar Athlete of the Year, and D3Baseball Team of the Week selection.
The D3Baseball preseason teams were chosen from last year's All-America and All-Region nominations.
Kreider was among 14 others selected to first-team with 15 more selected on second and third team, respectively. Kreider and Cortland starting pitcher Luis Misla were the only two from the SUNYAC named to the list, both on first team.
