KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Junior Christine Rieth (Penfield, N.Y.) and sophomore Yuka Suzuka (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) competed in individual events representing the State University of New York at New Paltz women's swimming team on the fourth and final day of the 2011 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center on Saturday morning. The Hawks also fielded a 400 freestyle relay team during the session.

Because the Hawks have not qualified for any of the evening sessions, they have not registered a team score.

Rieth placed 51st out of 55 competitors in the 100 freestyle, checking in at 53.42, while Suzuka placed 28th out of 39 swimmers in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:06.45. The 400 freestyle relay team of Rieth, senior Becky Baker (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.), Suzuka and sophomore Carly Marshall (Cornwall, N.Y.) registered a 26th-place time of 3:41.45 to close out the meet for the Hawks.
