BRUNSWICK, Maine – On Wednesday, Nov. 7, the State University of New York at New Paltz field hockey team (16-4) opens up play in the 2012 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Tournament, as it faces No. 6 Bowdoin College (14-3) in the first round at Howard F. Ryan Field in Brunswick, Maine. The game time is set for 4 p.m.

The winner of Wednesday's first-round game meets up with the No. 20 Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Saturday, Nov. 10, at William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y. William Smith will be hosting the semifinal and final rounds of the NCAA Tournament from Nov. 17-18.
