NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The State University of New York at New Paltz women's volleyball team will be competing in the Osprey Classic hosted by Richard Stockton College from Friday-Saturday, Oct. 17-18, in Pomona, N.J.
RECORDS: The Hawks are 20-4 and have won eight of their last nine matches... Kean is 12-11... Richard Stockton is 20-3... Springfield is 15-5, while Swarthmore is 16-4.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS (20-4): After falling at Williams College on Tuesday, Oct. 7, New Paltz swept all three State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) matches last weekend against Buffalo State, The College at Brockport and SUNY Plattsburgh... Freshman setter
Maddie Zwickl was named the SUNYAC Volleyball Player of the Week and
an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) NCAA Division III Metro/Upstate Women's Volleyball Co-Player of the Weekfor the period ending Oct. 12... Zwickl averaged 11.33 assists per set and 1.42 digs per set... Zwickl became the fourth Hawk earn the SUNYAC award this season.
