NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – After earning the No. 1 seed in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) playoffs for the second-straight year, the State University of New York at New Paltz women's volleyball team hosts cross-river rival Vassar College on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Hawk Center.
RECORDS: New Paltz is 25-5, 9-0 SUNYAC and have won eight of nine matches… Vassar is 12-16, 4-8 Liberty League and have dropped three of four contests.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS (25-5): New Paltz went 3-0 in the final SUNYAC Pool Play weekend at Fredonia, defeating the host Blue Devils 3-1 on Friday and sweeping both Geneseo and Oswego to earn the right to host the 2014 SUNYAC Tournament… Junior outside hitter
