NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's lacrosse team is set to host The College at Brockport on Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. on the Old Turf Field for Senior Day.
 
RECORDS: The Hawks are 3-10 overall, 1-6 in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC)… The Golden Eagles are 8-6 overall, 4-3 SUNYAC and 4-3 on the road.
 

21137SCOUTING THE HAWKS (3-10, 1-6): The Hawks recently fell at Oneonta on Tuesday, 22-13, in their second-to-last conference game… Senior attack Kelsey Healy led New Paltz on the offensive end by scoring a goal in the first 20 seconds of the game and had five goals on the day… Healy also had six ground balls in the loss… Senior midfielder Carissa Citro also helped on the offensive end with four goals and one assist… Senior midfielder Lianne Valdivia dished out three assists, recorded three goals, and had five draw controls for the Hawks… Senior goalkeeper Jackie Ulanoff made 11 saves in the loss… As a team, New Paltz had a 22 to 15 advantage in draw controls and went 8-for-14 on clear attempts… In the last meeting against the Golden Eagles, the Hawks were led by Healy and Valdivia who scored five goals in total, while Citro had two assists.

19869SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES (8-6, 4-3): Brockport dropped an 8-7 decision to SUNYAC opponent No. 19 Geneseo on Tuesday, April 21 despite three promising comebacks…The Golden Eagles were down four goals early in the game, but answered quickly with four goals and then again answered every time they fell behind…Junior attacker Hailey Boronczyk fueled the first comeback of the game and ended with two goals… Midfielder Makensie Schuber racked up two goals with one groundball and one draw control…Freshman attacker Jessica Boddery, sophomore attacker Kelly Wall, and freshman midfielder Andrea Zlinksy each added one goal to the hard fought battle… Wall also recorded two assists on the afternoon… Five Golden Eagles finished with multiple groundballs with sophomore midfielder Lauren Mancini leading the way with four… Junior defender Courtney Szczesniak and senior defender Colleen Hathaway led the way for Brockport with four and three caused turnovers.
