NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – On Friday, Aug. 19, 88 golfers showed up for the State University of New York at New Paltz Department of Athletics, Wellness & Recreation's ninth-annual fundraising golf tournament at Apple Greens Golf Course in Highland, N.Y.
 
The trio of Andrew Titus, Kennedy Cheruiyot and Young Son won the team title by shooting 13 strokes under par on the day. During the ceremony portion of the event, the winning group sported the iconic green jackets that have become synonymous with the tournament victors during a photo opportunity.

In addition, several student-athletes who participated in the 2016 Leadership Summit interacted with the golfers at various different holes throughout the course.
