Cortland, NY – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its weekly Athlete of the Week winners Monday. State University of New York at New Paltz sophomore duo
Trinity Chow and
Laura Koob was named PrestoSports/SUNYAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week, while Chow earned Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week as well.

The Hawks locked down their second-straight No. 1 seed in the SUNYAC playoffs over the week, clinching wins over SUNY Geneseo, Fredonia State and The College at Brockport. Chow and Koob went undefeated at first doubles in all three matches. They defeated the Knights and Blue Devils, 8-0 and registered an 8-1 victory over the Golden Eagles.
Chow was just as impressive in singles play, as she dropped just a single point throughout the weekend. Playing at ones in each of the Hawks' three victories, Chow earned a 6-0, 6-0 sweep over both Fredonia and Brockport, while also defeating Geneseo's Julianna Schulz, 6-1, 6-0. This is the second time in Chow's young career she has received the weekly recognition.
Chow, Koob and SUNY New Paltz are back in action Saturday when they kick of postseason play against No. 4 seed SUNY Cortland.
