UNION, NJ — The State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team were on the road tonight for their final New Jersey Athletic Conference match of the Fall semester. The Hawks played the Cougars of Kean University in Northern New Jersey. The match was played at the Alumni Stadium Tennis Courts located on Kean's Campus. The Hawks carried the day with a perfect score of 7-0 to remain perfect in match play this fall.
"Our last match of this semester saw us complete our third NJAC win 7-0. Our impressive performance in doubles was especially impressive with Eva DeJesus & Elloise Larosiliere making their first collegiate start as first-year students and putting up a 6-0 victory to earn both athletes their first collegiate win. Our singles play was again firing on all cylinders putting up an impressive 6-0 win in all positions. I would like to thank every athlete on the team for the hard work and dedication to the program and we look forward to starting back up in February with an incredibly challenging spring tennis schedule." said Coach Rob Bruley.
The Hawks are off until mid-March when they return for their annual Spring Break series in Florida. The Hawks will play next on March 15, 2027, against Trinity College at the USTA Campus in Orlando, FL.
