Orlando, FL -- The State University of New York at New Paltz tennis team's match Tuesday against Springfield College is moved to a 7 p.m. start at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Tennis Center in Orlando due to rain.
The Hawks (10-0) get the opportunity to extend their perfect record against the Pride and play their first and only game on a clay court. The USTA Tennis National Campus is home to 100 fully lit courts, including two championship courts with about 300 collegiate matches taking place at the facility throughout the year.
SUNY New Paltz is coming off a tight, 5-4 win over William Smith College Monday to kick-off its spring break trip in Florida. The Hawks, who won the SUNYAC Championship back in October, will play Springfield College, Goucher College and George Fox University this week before coming back to New York and playing Ithaca College Friday, March 29.
