Box Score Poughkeepsie, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team competed in day one of the Vassar scramble Saturday. While the results do not go toward the Hawks' overall season record, it is an important weekend since they will be competing against quality teams.
Onalee Batcheller and
Alexandra Dratch got SUNY New Paltz on the board Saturday with a pair of 8-5 wins in the first and second round against Connecticut College.
Trinity Chow and
Laura Koob followed with a doubles win, defeating Connecticut College, 8-5 as well.
Koob won her singles match 8-0 against New York University, as she continued her hot start to the season.
SUNY New Paltz will travel back to Vassar College Sunday to finish out the Vassar Scramble.
