Donlevy starred on the State University of New York at New Paltz women's swimming team for four seasons where she became a two-time All-SUNYAC selection and earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. Donlevy talked about her time as a Hawk and why there is only one SUNY New Paltz.

"Between the relationships I've made, the experiences I've had, and the lessons I've learned, New Paltz has provided me with the best four years imaginable. The school has proven time and time again to be a unique and fulfilling institution, educating me in ways beyond just academic, and all these wonderful memories are set against one of the most beautiful places in the country."
