Carrk has developed himself into one of the best players in the country since stepping onto the State University of New York at New Paltz men's volleyball program in 2016. He led the Hawks to their second national championship in 2019, being named NCAA Tournament MVP for his storied performance throughout the postseason, but particularly in the semi and final games. Carrk was then named an AVCA First-Team All-America selection in 2020 after captaining the team to a 16-3 record and No. 3 nationally ranking before the season was unexpectedly cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Â
Carrk talked about his experience thus far as a Hawk and why he believes there is only one SUNY New Paltz.Â

Â
"After my visit I knew this was the college I wanted to go to. No other school gave off that feeling you get when you come to this campus and get to feel the atmosphere and meet the staff. This school gives the opportunity to play at the highest level in DIII, and gives you a great social experience. It's a privilege to call New Paltz a second home."
