The Golden Eagles enter the match with a clean slate as SUNY New Paltz is its first competition of the season after a cancellation versus Arcadia Feb. 19. St.Joseph's-LI split its 2021 season at 4-4 playing only conference teams. Its season came to a close with the first seed of Skyline Conference play, SUNY Maritime, beating the Golden Eagles by just one point in the first round.
The Hawks are aiming to capitalize on their upcoming non-conference game after falling in their first matchup against Maritime last week. After high performances in the previous game from freshman attacker James Flannagan with two goals and freshman faceoff specialist/midfielder
Ethan Scully pulling roughly 50 percent of taken faceoffs and tallying an assist in the season opener.
