New Paltz, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz Men's Lacrosse team were in action on Saturday against Mount Saint Vincent from the Skyline Conference. The Hawks collected a 18-2 victory over the Dolphins at home on South Turf Field for third second consecutive win. 

The Hawks came out of the first faceoff strong with a flurry of six goals in the first period. The Hawks would keep up the scoring intensity until the fourth quarter scoring another six goals in the second and five in the third periods respectively. Thomas Armetta and Ryan Scully each lead SUNY New Paltz with four goals apiece. Ryan Steinhart and Nate Lindsey shared goaltending duties with each recording five and eight saves respectively.  

The win Saturday improved the Hawks to 2-3 overall as they continue a stretch of non-conference games prior to the start of SUNYAC play next weekend. The hawks will be back in action on Wednesday, March 22 at SUNY Delhi in Delhi, NY. The game will commence at 6:00 PM.
