SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Valle picked up her second double-double of the season in the New Paltz women’s basketball team’s only game this week. She contributed 10 points off the bench in Tuesday’s win over Hamilton College, and pulled down 11 boards in the effort. On the season, Valle is averaging a team-high eight rebounds per game, as well as 9.1 points, which is second for the Hawks. New Paltz returns to action Jan. 4, 2013 with a home contest against non-conference opponent Mount Saint Mary College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the Hawk Center.
