Spring scored his first collegiate goal in an 0-2 week for the Hawks. He found the back of the net off a rebound in the 12th minute on Friday against SUNY Potsdam, but the Bears scored three unanswered goals to win, 3-1. He then drew a start the following day in a 2-0 loss to SUNY Plattsburgh. New Paltz (3-9-2, 2-4-0 SUNYAC) next faces Hunter College on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 5 p.m.
