Husmann led the No. 4 Hawks to a 2-0 weekend at the Stevenson Tournament to open the 2015 season. Husmann finished with 26 kills (3.25 kills per set), hit .611 (26-4-36) and finished with four total blocks (0.50 per set). Against Rutgers-Newark (W, 3-1) Husmann tallied nine kills, three digs and three blocks while hitting .571. Versus the host No. 14 Mustangs, Husmann finished with a match-high 17 kills and a staggering .636 hitting percentage. New Paltz (2-0) next visits New York University on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. for a non-conference match.
