Freshman Sherri Metcalfe from the State University of New York at New Paltz women's cross country team led the Hawks to a first-place team finish out of 17 teams at the Bill Fritz Invitational hosted by Rowan University on Saturday. Metcalfe completed the 6K course in a time of 22:59.97 to take top honors out of the 148 runner field.
