EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's swimming team posted a number of strong times Saturday on the second day of the 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Winter Championships at the Nassau County Aquatics Center. After two days of competition, the Hawks rank third out of 13 teams with 704.5 points.

Carly Marshall (Cornwall, N.Y./Cornwall Central), who did so in the 200 butterfly (2:11.66). Marshall also competed in the 200 breaststroke (2:29.94; eighth) and the 100 butterfly (59.75; ninth).
