NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – Pitted against an NCAA Tournament team in Ithaca College (10-6), the State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team (12-7) dealt the Bombers a 9-0 setback on Friday afternoon in non-conference action. The Hawks swept through doubles before handling Ithaca with ease in singles.

Kayla DiPaulo (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) won trailed, 6-4, after one set at flight two singles, but she rebounded in sets two and three, winning each by matching scores of 6-0 and 6-0. Sophomore
Paige Munroe (Ann Arbor, Mich./Ann Arbor Pioneer) boasted the largest margin of victory at No. 3 singles, triumphing, 6-1, 6-2.
New Paltz faces a tough test tomorrow morning, as it squares off with The College of New Jersey at 9:30 a.m. in Ewing, N.J.
