SCOUTING UNION (3-10): Union College dropped to 3-10 overall after losing to Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in a 5-4 setback in Liberty League road action on April 11… Sophomore Emily Newman won in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) at No. 5 singles… Newman teamed up with Margaret Oppenheim for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles… Union also received singles victories from Mina Hsla in flight two (6-2, 6-3) and Hayley Lough in flight four (6-0, 6-2).
LAST MEETING: The Hawks beat the Dutchwomen 9-0 the last time these two teams met in Schenectady, N.Y. on April 6, 2014.
