ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback against St. Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon at Bard College.
The Hawks drop to 7-6 and next host the New Paltz Tournament at the North Tennis Courts on Saturday, April 23 at 9 a.m. St. Lawrence improves to 11-5 and travels to play the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Lindsay Haley (Hicksville, N.Y./St. Anthony's) and senior
Laura Tierney (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) earned the lone win for New Paltz as the duo took flight three doubles, 8-5.
The Hawks dropped all six flights in singles play. Sophomore
Emi Lewis (New York City, N.Y./NYC Lab School) played the closest match, but ended up falling to her opponent, 6-2, 6-4 in flight four.
