ORLANDO FL. – The State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team fell to George Fox 6-3 on Thursday afternoon to conclude its Spring Break trip at 2-2.

The Hawks move to 8-5 overall and will next travel to Ithaca on March 31 at 3:30 p.m. George Fox improves to 13-9 overall.

New Paltz picked up one doubles victory in flight three as sophomore Lindsay Haley (Hicksville, N.Y./St. Anthony's) and freshman Victoria Zezula (Ridgewood, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy) earned an 8-5 win.

In singles action, junior Brittany Grandville (Tappan, N.Y./Tappan Zee) enjoyed a 6-1, 6-3 flight two win while junior Carol Tyson (Clinton Corners, N.Y./Rhinebeck) completed the wins for New Paltz with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 victory in flight three.
