The ITA Tennis Association released its latest regional rankings Thursday night with the State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team moving up to its highest ranking in program history at No. 17 in the Northeast Region.
The Hawks (15-0) were awarded their first ranking in nearly a decade two weeks ago at No. 19 and after extending its undefeated record with a victory over Stevens Institute of Technology, 6-3, April 10. SUNY New Paltz hopes to continue its unbeaten streak Friday, as it hits the road to face Manhattanville College Friday at 3:30 p.m. The Hawks then have a big matchup against Union College April 19 before concluding their regular season at home against Ramapo College April 20. The NCAA Tournament is then scheduled to begin May 10.
