EWING, NJ- The State University of New York at New Paltz swim teams traveled south to New Jersey to participate in a three-day invitational at The College of New Jersey. The women's and men's team(s) are in fourth place through day two of the competition. The field of teams includes the host Lions of TCNJ as well as Stevens Institute of Technology and the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
Sierra DePry finished first in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:59.11. Alex Kassian finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:09.49. The women took second in the 200-yard medley relay (Delilah Griger, Kassian, Kelly Donlevy, and DePry) with a time of 1:50.85. Steven Macaluso took fifth place in the 100-yard fly with a time of 51.28. The men took eighth in the 200-yard medley relay (Korey Barber, Venn Engstrom, Steven Macaluso, and Paul Castner) with a time of 1:38.79.
