SUNY New Paltz Men's Volleyball Weekend Preview: Ramapo & SUNY Poly

Fresh from its 3-0 win over Arcadia University Wednesday night, the State University of York at New Paltz men's volleyball team looks to add to its win total Saturday in its home opener in the Hawk Center against Ramapo College and SUNY Poly.

The Hawks will meet the Roadrunners at 11 a.m. Saturday morning before facing the Wildcats at 3 p.m.

Ramapo is currently 3-2, defeating New Jersey City University 3-1 Wednesday, a team the Hawks beat 3-0 last Sunday. In their seven matches thus far, the Wildcats are averaging 7.32 kills, 6.64 assists, 1.41 blocks, 1.77 service aces and six digs per set, respectively, while hitting at a .115 rate. The core of the team has been junior setter Nathan Farnham (6'0, Penfield, Y), junior defensive specialist/libero Jacob Wicher (5'9, Orchard Park, NY), first year outside hitter Jason Aubrey (6'2, Clifton Park, NY) and graduate student middle blocker Garrett Hassard (6'4, Oneonta, NY).
