New Paltz, NY — For the fourth time this season, State University of New York at New Paltz middle blocker
Krish Jain was named as the UVC Rookie of the Week.
Announced Monday through the conference office, Jain was awarded the weekly honor after posting six kills apiece through two UVC matchups this past week for the Hawks.
In a four-set match against No. 2 Vassar Wednesday in the Hawk Center, Jain hit .308 on 13 attempts with two blocks and totaled seven points while appearing in all four sets. In a come-from-behind five-set win over St. John Fisher Saturday, Jain totaled six kills on 15 attempts with three blocks and a dig for 7.5 points in the victory.
