New Paltz, NY — The United Volleyball Conference announced its weekly winners Monday with Hawks freshman outside hitter
Nikko Tenedorio earning his third UVC Rookie of the Week recognition.
Tenedorio led the Hawks offensively in two five-set matches against UVC rivals. Against No. 18 Nazareth, the Bay Shore, NY native finished with a game-high 20 points and 24 points, while hitting a productive, .268 with one ace and 11 digs. He again posted a game-high in kills in another five-set match Sunday against No. 12 St. John Fisher College where he registered 17 kills, hitting .343 with two assists and four digs for 17 points.
