"As in the past years our match with Stevens came down to fine margins" said coach Rob Bruley. "With NP down 1pt in the doubles we showed real strength of character in the singles with 4 of the 6 matches going to 3rd set tie breakers. Unfortunately, we came up short in 3 of the 4 tie breakers but I was really pleased with the way we continually competed throughout the match. Great performance from Syd Sladicka at #2 singles and Olivia Kunz winning at #4 singles."
The Hawks will return home to host the Rochester Institute of Technology on April 19
th.
