New Paltz, NY — The State University of New York New Paltz women's tennis program announced its incoming class for the 2025 season Wednesday.
The Hawks are coming off another dominant campaign where they hoisted their third straight SUNYAC trophy. They look to make it a four-peat in their final season in the SUNYAC and they add a strong freshmen class to aid in those efforts.
Although they lost two staples within the program in graduating seniors
Isabel van der Veen (first doubles, third singles) and
Amirah Alston (fourth singles), they return their top player in senior
Justine Stanejko, including four of their six singles players.
With the four additions, SUNY New Paltz women's tennis can boast arguably its deepest roster on paper to date.
