Colorado Springs, CO — The National Field Hockey Association (NFHCA) announced its yearly Division III Scholars of Distinction Friday with Hawks senior captain
Gail Comiskey featured among more than 540 student-athletes who made the list this year.
The NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.9 or higher throughout the first semester of the 2025-26 academic year.
The honor comes off the heels of the NFHCA announcing its national academic squad honorees, which included Comiskey for the fourth consecutive year.
Additionally, the Hawks were named as a NFHCA National Academic Team, which recognizes programs that earned a team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester for the current academic year. Seventy-seven other schools were recognized in Division III as NFHCA National Academic Team Award winners. SUNY New Paltz Field Hockey finished with the highest team GPA of all 16 Hawks programs, recording a 3.66 this past fall.
