Cambridge, MA — The State University of New York at New Paltz fell 7-0 too Williams College Saturday afternoon in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on the campus of The Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
"Against one of our toughest teams that we've played all year, in very windy conditions, we handled ourselves well and everyone took their game to the next level" said head coach Rob Bruley. "Although at times the scores do not reflect how close each individual match was, we performed at a high level and pushed Williams all the way. I'd like to personally thank every player on the team for the way they handled themselves at the national championship and throughout our two semester season. I'd like to thank Justine and Nina, our two graduating seniors, for everything they have done for the program during their four amazing years. Including four conference championships and being part of four national championships. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavors and they have left the team in a very strong place moving forward."
