New Paltz, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis program announced its incoming class for the 2026-27 season today.

The Hawks concluded their final season in SUNYAC by capturing their fourth consecutive SUNYAC tennis title, their 10th overall. In SUNYAC regular season play, New Paltz went 5-0, never losing a single set and in the SUNYAC tournament, the Hawks did not lose a set in winning their final SUNYAC title. Lost from last year are two significant players: four-time SUNYAC Conference Player of the Year, Justine Stanejko and two-time All SUNYAC selection Nina Genzone. However, the Hawks return eight match tested players and look to have an immediate as they enter into play in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

Eva was one of the top singles players in NYS Section 3 over her four year career for the Lakers.

As a senior, she posted a regular season 8-0 first singles mark and was 1-0 in first doubles play. In the Section III, Class D championship, she went 3-0 winning the Section III first singles title and qualifying for the NYSPHSAA Singles Championship at the USTA-Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Queens. She was named All Central New York First Team.

As a junior, she posted an undefeated regular season at first singles and in the Section III, Class D championship she did not drop a single set in capturing the Section III first singles title, qualifying for the NYSPHSAA Singles Championship. She was named to the All Central New York First Team.

As a sophomore, DeJesus earned Onondaga High School League first team honors and was Section III, Class C singles runner-up. As a first year player, she earned Onondaga High School League first team honors, was named Liberty National first team doubles, went 11-0 in doubles competition on her way to being Section III, Class C doubles champion.

Academically, she was a National Honor Society selection.

Delphine Larosiliere, a five year player for White Plains, is one half of NYS Section One's girl's tennis dynamic duo. With her twin Elloise, she co-captained the Tigers during her junior and senior seasons.

As a senior, Delphine earned All League Singles First Team honors, was LoHud Doubles First Team, Section One Doubles First team and Section One Tournament semifinalists.

As a junior, she joined her sister on the LoHud Girls Tennis Preseason Watch List, earned All League Doubles First Team honors and played into the Section One doubles quarterfinals.

As a sophomore she earned All League First Team honors, was listed on the LoHud Girl's Tennis Preseason Watch List, was named a LoHud Honorable Mention and was an important part of White Plains' Team Championship in 2022-23 and as a first year player she was named All League Doubles Honorable Mention.

Delphine also excelled in the classroom being named an AP Scholar and to the National Honor Society. She contributed mightily to her school and community: Co-VP of the Student Government Organization with her sister, French Club co-president and vice president; Yearbook Club; Debate Club. She was named to the White Plains Mayor's Youth Council and the YMCA Youth & Government program. She serves as a tennis instructor for the White Plains Parks & Recreation Department and is a certified tennis tournament official for youth matches in Westchester County.

A varsity player since eighth grade, Elloise co-captained the Tigers during her junior and senior year.

As a senior, she earned LoHud Doubles First Team honors, Section One Doubles First Team honors, All League Doiubles First Team honors and advanced to the Section One semifinals.

In her junior year, Elloise was named to the 2024 LoHud Girl's Tennis Preseason Watch List, earned All League Doubles First Team honors and advanced to the Section One quarterfinals.

As a sophomore, she was named to the LoHud Girl's Tennis Preseason Watch List, was named a LoHud Doubles Honorable Mention and was All League Doubles First Team and significantly led the Tigers to the 2023 League tennis championship. As a first-year player, she was named All League Doubles Honorable Mention.

Academically, Elloise was named an AP Scholar and to the National Honor Society. She served as Student Government Organization Co-Vice President and was co-vice president of the French Club. She was a member of the White Plains Mayor's Youth Council, volunteered at the Battle Hill (White Plains) Community Association, was a YMCA Youth and Government program delegate in Albany, serving as an attorney. She worked with the White Plaines Parks & Recreation Department as a summer girls tennis camp coach.
