New Paltz, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz officially released its 2026-2027 women's tennis schedule today.

The State University of New York at New Paltz officially released its 2026-2027 women's tennis schedule today as the Hawks look to begin a new chapter of court excellence as members of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC).

The 2026-2027 tennis schedule includes a host of opponents that saw significant success in 2025-2026, with three having earned NCAA DIII tournament berths, one winning the ECAC DIII championship, three conference tournament finalists, and five tournament semifinalists.

New Paltz opens the fall 2026 season with two non-scoring events, the Union College Invitational on September 5-6 and the Poughkeepsie Scramble, hosted by Vassar College, on September 11-13. Regular fall season play begins on September 19 as the Hawks travel to Kean University for their first match as an NJAC competitor. September 23 sees the Hawks host Manhattanville University, New Paltz travels to face Stockton University on September 26. The Hawks are home again on October 2, hosting Rutgers University-Camden. William Paterson University visits the Hawk courts on October 7 to round out the fall schedule.

Spring tennis picks up on March 26 with New Paltz at Drew University, then at home on April 2 hosting Ithaca College. Five consecutive away matches will follow: at Division II St. Thomas Aquinas College on April 3; at Union College on April 6; at Stevens Institute on April 7; at Vassar College on April 11 and away at SUNY Oneonta on April 14. April 16 sees New Paltz host Stevens Institute and The College of New Jersey on April 17. New Paltz travels to Vassar College on April 18, then concludes the 2026-2027 season at home, hosting the Rochester Institute of Technology on April 23 and SUNY Geneseo on April 24.

The NJAC women's tennis semifinal matches are scheduled for April 28, with the championship final on May 1. The NCAA DIII Regional rounds will be held on May 14-15, with the national tournament being played on May 25-28 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, CA.
